WHAT CAN YOU DO?
So you want to retire and you must decide what to do with your retirement funds. We suggest you consider the following:
  1. You can take an annuity from MetLife, which offers a lifetime income, but if you die without spending it all you will lose the balance. Not a popular choice.
  2. You can take a lump sum payout, BUT then all the taxes are due. Not a popular choice.
  3. You can take a monthly payout over a year or two with again a possible tax issue. Not a popular choice.
  4. OR you can roll your funds into a self-directed IRA which provides you the most options available. You can choose from SAFE MONEY, RISK MONEY  or a combination that works for you.  BEST CHOICE!!!
